The microprocessor-controlled CT-2000 series constant temperature bath accommodates viscometer tubes requiring a bath depth up to 12" and provides reliable temperature control from 10 °C to 150 °C. The unit accommodates up to 7 simultaneous viscosity determinations.

  • Temperature accuracy: ± 0.01 °C from 10 °C to 100 °C; ± 0.03 °C from 100 °C to 150 °C
  • Meets ASTM D445 temperature sensitivity requirements for kinematic viscosity determination
  • Motor driven stirrer ensures a uniform bath temperature

Microprocessor-controlled temperature regulation & networking capabilities

  • Desired bath temperature and calibration temperatures are digitally entered on the front panel keypad
  • Integrated microprocessor automatically regulates bath temperature
  • Both target and actual bath temperatures are monitored by an RTD temperature probe and continuously displayed in °C or °F on the LCD screen
  • RS-232 and RS-485 communication ports provide data acquisition and multi-unit networking capabilities

Efficient, user-friendly design

  • Seven glass viscometer ports (each 2” in diameter) and two thermometer ports (each 0.4” in diameter) allow up to 7 simultaneous viscosity determinations**
  • Two electric heating elements quickly heat bath media to the selected temperature
  • Stainless steel baffle provides a plain reflective viewing background
  • Integrated stainless steel cooling coil allows connection to tap or recirculating water chiller for temperatures slightly above or below ambient. An external thermoelectric bath cooler is also available.
  • Convenient drawer provides easy access to electrical controls
  • Capable of using water or oil as bath medium
